I have to admit that I fell behind with PostGIS updates until recently. The new functionality in PostGIS 2.5 is great and the 3.0.0 release is shaping up to be even better. I’m looking forward to the improved support for parallel processing of queries, there’s an article by Paul Ramsey on that below.
