Normally reaching version 1.0 is a big deal but Mapbox didn’t make much of a fuss for Mapbox GL JS, probably because the bump in version was mostly down to moving to a new pricing model. Instead of charging for map ‘views’ they now charge for map 'loads’, making cost much easier to reason.
